Fit Guide
All our waist beads are tie-on and come as a single strand measuring 50 inches. This guide will help you confirm they will fit and understand how to position them on your body.
Will they fit me?
Our 50-inch strands are designed to fit a wide range of body sizes. To check, measure your waist or hips at the point where you plan to wear the beads. If your measurement is under 50 inches, our strands will fit.
How to measure
- Use a soft measuring tape.
- Wrap it around your body at the position you want to wear the beads — this could be at your natural waist (above the navel), at the navel, or lower at the hips.
- Keep the tape snug but not tight. Note the measurement in inches.
- If your measurement is under 50 inches, you're good to go.
Where to wear them
[Add illustration here showing the three placement positions on the body — high waist, natural waist, and hip. Recommended image size: 600–800px wide, portrait orientation.]
There is no single correct position. Common placements include:
- High waist — above the navel, sits naturally under clothing
- Natural waist — at or just below the navel
- Low waist / hip — resting on the hip bones
You can wear multiple strands at different positions at the same time.
How to tie them
- Hold the strand at the position you want to wear it.
- Wrap it around your body and bring the two ends together.
- Tie a secure double knot.
- Trim any excess string close to the knot.
- Tuck or burn the ends carefully to prevent fraying, if needed.
Once tied and trimmed, the beads are designed to be worn continuously. Do not untie them unless you intend to remove them.
A note on body changes
Many people use waist beads as a way to track changes in their body. Because they are tie-on and sit at a fixed position, you will naturally notice when they begin to sit higher or lower on your body over time.
